この正月に感じたことを二つ記します。
（１）東アジア文化経済共同体？
久しぶりにvideoを借りに行くと、韓流映画のコーナーだけでなく、華流映画のコーナーもありました。日韓合作ドラマ、日中合作映画、中韓合作映画もたくさんあるようです。映画やTVドラマやポピュラー音楽の分野では、東アジア域内の交流がどんどん進んでいます。このまま進むと文化の領域では、アジアの共通市場ができそうです。文化と経済の面では、東アジア共通市場ができそうです。
（２）もう一つは、民主主義がうまく機能していないという言説と、様々な制度が民主的になっていないという言説が目についたことです。人々は、個々の問題のだけでなく、現在の政治システムそのものがうまく機能していないと感じているようです。つまり、原発や財政や年金など個別の問題ではなくて、これらの問題を解決する能力一般を現在の政治システムが持っていないということが明らかになっているように思われます。しかも、そのことに多くの人が気づいているのにもかかわらず、政治システムを修正するメカニズムが働いていないのです。政治制度は、社会問題を解決するものとして創設され、そのようなものとして正当性をもちます。社会問題を解決する能力を持たない政治制度は正当性を持ちません。それを変える必要があります。社会問題を確定して、その解決方法を決定し、それを実行するシステムを作り上げなければなりません。（さて、どうしたらよいのでしょうか。これについては、いずれ（人格論に区切りがつけば）書庫を立ち上げて考えたいとおもいます。）
