　さて、私が「山口の外郎をもう一度食べたい」と思った（内言した）としましょう。そのとき、それは、その発話の前にあった心的状態や身体的状態を記述したものだといえるでしょうか。そのようなものは、ないように思えるのですが・・・。思えるというだけで、今うまく論証することは出来ません。
　これを論証するには、ご質問の社会的な欲望について、もっと明確に説明する必要があるでしょう。

　心的ないし身体的状態の記述としての「私は・・・したい」という発話で表現されている欲求を「自然的欲求」と呼ぶことにします。それに対して、心的ないし身体的状態の記述（これは真理値をもちます）ではなく、（真理値をもたない）意図表明としての「私は・・・したい」という発話として欲望を「社会的欲望」と呼ぶことにしました。
　前者と後者の区別は、とりあえず、明確だと思うのですが、後者を「社会的欲望」と呼ぶときに、別の性質をそれに付与することになっているので、urbeさんが疑問を持ったのだと思います。

　私は、意図表明の発話は、様々な意味で社会的なものだと思います。もっとも基本的な理由は、それが公的な言語で語られているということです。それは発話以前に発話から独立に存在するものではありません。そして、そのために、それは他の様々な私の発話や他者の発話と内容的に関係しています。

　例えば、「名古屋の外郎は、安くてうまい」と考えた（言った）あとで、何の説明もなくすぐに「山口の外郎を食べたい」とは言いません。それは（厳密には矛盾ではないのですが）矛盾しているように感じられるし、少なくとも支離滅裂だと感じられるからです。最初の発言の後に、「しかし、山口の外郎のほうがダイエットにはよい」というような発言があると、「山口の外郎を食べたい」という発言が出てくることが自然（？）です。このような思考の流れの中で、後者の欲望が成立しているのではないでしょうか。さらには、このような発言の背後には、最近の山口での楽しい思い出も、影響しているでしょうし、山口の友人が外郎を自慢していたことも、影響しているでしょう。

    僕も個人的にはないと考えています．発話は百鬼夜行のようなものだという考えにシンパシーをもっていますので．（とはいえ心的表象がまったくないとも思えません，ひょっとしたら，内語であれなんであれ，発話と同時に発生した表象を繰り返しフィードバックする（それを書いたり記憶にとどめたりもする)というのが正しいのかもしれません)．「山口の外郎を食べたい」というような複雑な命題は言語機構からの助けなしに表象することはできない，ということかもしれません．

    発話／言語の公的さ社会的さという点を強調されているので，上記の事柄はとりあえずは関係ありませんが．

    宮国です。

    私が山口県出身なので、この記事がついつい目についてしまいました。
    確かに山口の外郎は滑らかな食感が特徴だと思います。
    わらび粉を原料としているからのようですが、現在ではタピオカ粉もよく使われています。
    外郎に豆が入った豆子郎（とうしろう）というのもあります。

    外郎は宮崎にもあります（青島ういろう）。こちらは米粉が原料で、非常に素朴な味わいです。
    どちらもおいしいです。

    名古屋の外郎はまだ食べたことがありませんが・・・どちらかと言えば青島ういろうの方に近いのでしょうか？

    私としては、「欲望」「欲求」とは何なのか、厳密な分析が必要であると思っています。
